Toddler Activities in Lauderdale-by-the-Sea, Florida
Lauderdale-by-the-Sea is a small beach town you can do on foot. Park once, and the beach, the shaded pavilion at the end of Commercial Boulevard, and El Prado Park are a few blocks apart. Friedt Family Park behind Town Hall has the only playground. The fishing pier has been closed since 2022, so do not plan around it. Older kids who swim well can snorkel the Shipwreck Trail from the Datura Avenue entrance. There is no indoor backup in town; rain means Pompano or Fort Lauderdale. This list is LBTS only.
